This week's program highlighted the significance of the Language Martyrs' Day or Martyrs' Day which is a national day of Bangladesh observed on 21st February to commemorate protests and sacrifices to protect Bengali as a national language during Bengali Language Movement of 1952. It is also observed as the International Mother Language Day worldwide to promote awareness of linguistic and cultural diversity and promote multilingualism after proclaimed by UNESCO in 1999. This week's program mentioned the different activities and functions planned to commemorate the day in Canberra, Australia. This week's program was produced and presented by Sheikh Lana.
