This week's program highlighted the origin and rituals of Lakshmi Puja, the worship of the Hindu goddess of wealth, celebrated in Bengal and other parts of the Indian sub-continent. It is observed on the third day of Tihar or Deepawali by placing small oil lamps or candles inside and outside devotees' homes and praying for prosperity and well-being of their families and businesses. The songs played in the program were sung by Kabir Sumon, Utsab, Sandha Mukharjee, Prodip Sarkar and Aditi Mohsin. This week's program was produced and presented by Shrabani Paul.
