This week's program commemorated the - 'Buddha Purnima' - birth, enlightenment and death anniversary of Lord Buddha, the founder of Buddhism, to be celebrated on 18th May this year by the Buddhists worldwide. It is the most sacred day in the Buddhist calendar. This week's program entitled - 'Shanti Koro Borishon' - presented a beautiful composition of songs, recitation and narration on Lord Buddha's philosophy, message and preaching. The recitation and narrations were by Shulekha Barua, Tapati Aditya, Tushar Roy and Shampa Barua. The songs played in the program were sung by Rizwana Chowdhury Bonnya, Joyoti Chakrabarti, Shuchitra Mitra, Hemanta Mukhopadhay, Sagar Sen and Shagota Laxmi Dasgupta. The technical production was by Robin Guda. This week's program was produced and presented by Shampa Barua.
