This week's program - 'Shokol Kolusho Tamosho Horo' - commemorated the birth, enlightenment and death anniversary of Lord Buddha - the founder of Buddhism. This year the day known as 'Buddha Purnima' will be celebrated on 7th May by the Buddhists worldwide. It is the most sacred day in the Buddhist calendar. This week's program presented a beautiful composition of songs and poem on Lord Buddha's realisation, message and preaching. The singers of the songs were Hemanta Mukhopadhay, Srikanta Acharya, Shuchitra Mitra, Kishore Kumar, Ramesh Bandopadhay, Maloti Ghoshal and others. The poetry recitation was by Moushumi Dutta. The program was technically produced by Robin Guda and Punna Joyotee. This week's program was produced and presented by Shampa Barua.
