This week's program is a follow-up of last week's program on the bushfire emergency situation in Canberra caused by a number of uncontrolled bushfires burning around the Australian Capital Territory. It presented interviews of Bangladeshi expatriates living in Gordon, one of the three suburbs in South Canberra that were first on the path of the advancing bushfires, describing their experience of the passing over of the event. They are: Dr. Bilquis Ferdous, Biomedical Faculty member of the University of Canberra, Mr. Masud Jamaly and Ms. Rowshan Ara Masud, parents from Bangladesh visiting family in Canberra, and Ms. Rumana Jamaly and Mr. Shamsul Huda, both professional architects and planners and long-time residents of Canberra. The songs played in the program were sung by famous Indian singers Lata Mungeshkar and Manna Dey. This week's program was produced and presented by Ehsan Ullah.
