This week's program commemorated the - 'Australia Day' - a national day of Australia celebrated annually on 26 January to mark the anniversary of the 1788 arrival of the First Fleet of British ships at Port Jackson, New South Wales, and the raising of the Flag of Great Britain at Sydney Cove by Governor Arthur Phillip. The program is structured in three parts: the history of Australia Day, memories and experiences of Australia Day, and the current debate whether the date of Australia Day should change.
